Lithuania hosted a Kurash Grand Prix Tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the tournament was organized by the Lithuanian Kurash Federation in cooperation with Uzbekistan Kurash Federation. Athletes from about 20 European countries took part in the tournament.

Following the competition, wrestlers from Russia, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine took the highest places in the team competition.
