On August 23-25 this year, the most prestigious competition will be held in Samarkand – the next Canoe Sprint World Championships with 400 athletes from 57 countries.

The Uzbekistan Rowing and Canoe Federation has announced the athletes who will defend the country’s honor at the championships.

According to this list, among men, Nurislom Tukhtasin ugli, Artur Guliyev, Elyorjon Mamadaliyev, William Ibragimov, Shakhriyor Mahkamov, Yaroslav Slavgorodskiy, Vladlen Denisov, Samandar Khaydarov, Kamronbek Ahtamov, Muhammadali Mirismanov, Ozodjon Amriddinov, Mirjalol Komilov, Ziyodbek Yuldoshaliyev, Davron Salimov, Dilmurod Shermurodov will compete at the World Championships; among women, Ekaterina Shubina, Dilnoza Rakhmatova, Nilufar Zokirova, Arina Tanatmisheva, Khonzoda Erkinova, Madinabonu Ismoilova, Shokhsanam Sherzodova, Dinara Jurayeva, Shakhrizoda Mavlonova will try their luck.
