More than 100 world and domestic museums and libraries have received certificates for 35 volumes of album books from the series “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections”.
The International Media Hall hosted an event dedicated to the presentation of the project “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” for foreign observers and experts who arrived for the Presidential elections in Uzbekistan.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, scientists, representatives of Tashkent and regional museums and institutes, journalists and bloggers became the honorary guests of the event.
A ceremony of awarding foreign members of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan with commemorative signs for the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, as well as certificates for receiving 35 volumes of album books from the series “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” took place.
Books and honorary badges will be presented through the embassies of foreign countries in Uzbekistan to leading museums, libraries and research centers, as well as personally to members of the World Society abroad.
Certificates for receiving 35 volumes of album books of the series “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” were also awarded to representatives of state museums and libraries of Uzbekistan.
The project has already prepared 50 volumes of book albums, which were presented within the framework of the Heritage Week and the 5th International Congress of the World Society in Tashkent, Nukus and Khiva. 15,000 colorful album books of the series “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections” have already been distributed to schools, libraries and museums.
