Director of the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Davron Dehkanov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan Zehavit Ben Hillel.

The parties exchanged views on the conservation of biodiversity, the application of modern irrigation technologies and the expansion of scientific and practical cooperation between the Institute of Botany and the National Botanic Garden of Israel. The sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, including the tasks for exchanging and growing seeds, creating a corner of the Israeli flora.
