In order to timely identify patients and prevent the spread of disease, as well as solve other issues, a resolution was adopted at the Special Republican Commission meeting.

Starting March 21, entertainment facilities, including night clubs, discos, spa and massage salons, teahouses, canteens and catering facilities (except for food delivery services), karaoke, billiard halls, hookahs and computer halls will be closed in all regions of Uzbekistan until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.

Starting March 23, weddings and other family events and ceremonies involving a large number of people are prohibited (the number of participants should not exceed 10-15).

These events are allowed to be held only when absolutely necessary, with a family.

In addition, the Commission considered the issue returning Uzbekistan citizens abroad to Uzbekistan and their placement in a 14-day quarantine.
