Legal departments of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Algeria have held bilateral consultations on enhancing and strengthening the legal framework for cooperation.

The Algerian delegation was led by the Director-General of the Asia Oceania Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Boumediene Guennad.

At the event, draft documents were discussed. Issues of preparing proposals for improving the legal framework for cooperation were considered.

Following the consultations, an agreement was reached to speed up the process of considering draft agreements in trade, economic, customs, and tourism spheres, as well as to organize meetings at the expert level for this purpose.

The event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries, and embassies.
