A delegation led by the President of the Asian Karate Federation Major General Nasser Alrazooqi arrived in Uzbekistan.

The leadership of the Karate Federation of the continent met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov.

The talks were attended by the Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, the NOC Secretary General Oybek Kosimov, the Vice-President of the Asian Karate Federation, the Chairman of the National Karate Federation of Uzbekistan Alam Mullayev and others.

The President of the Asian Karate Federation highly appreciated the ongoing reforms in the system of physical culture and sports in Uzbekistan, offering to popularize the experience of the country in other Asian countries. The distinguished guest expressed gratitude for the warm welcome of the sports delegation.

According to the program of the visit, on December 24, the ceremony of transferring tatami and sports equipment by the Asian Karate Federation to the Karate Department of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports will take place.

It is planned to sign a trilateral memorandum of cooperation between the Asian Karate Federation, the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and the National Karate Federation of Uzbekistan.
