The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with Masdar CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi.

The parties discussed the issues of further enhancing financial cooperation in the development of renewable energy sources, the implementation of joint projects.

Issues of the current state of construction of three photoelectric power plants with a total capacity of 897 MW in Samarkand, Jizzakh and Surkhandarya regions were discussed. 

The parties agreed to resume activities on the construction of stations in April this year. Views were exchanged on the prospects for enhancing the company’s activities in Uzbekistan through the implementation of new large investment projects.
