M.M. Fedorovich Clinical Sanatorium in Tashkent hosted a scientific-practical conference “Current issues of development of radiation diagnostics in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The event was attended by experienced radiologists and specialists in the use of MRI and CT from Uzbekistan, Russia and the Netherlands. They focused on the introduction of new practices and solutions in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
On the first day of the scientific and practical conference, the participants talked about how spectral CT can be used in studies of the heart and musculoskeletal system, in oncological practice, and analyzed ways to solve complex diagnostic problems using MRI. On the second day, experts analyzed interesting clinical cases and saw in practice the possibilities of using innovative medical equipment and software.
In the main part of the event, leading radiologists from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC FPI” of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Moscow Regional Clinical Research Institute named after M.F. Vladimirsky, Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after Bakulev, as well as CT and MRI specialists from Philips delivered speeches.
