A delegation led by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited Namangan region.
The guests became familiar with the results of the reforms, in particular with the activities of trade and production centers established by entrepreneurs.
The guests got acquainted with the project implemented in Turakurgan district by Iftikhor Kiyim Sanoati LLC. Here, on the initiative of entrepreneur and Senator Anna Dobrikh, a complex for the production of raw cotton yarn, denim and other fabrics are being built. 17 hectares have been allocated for construction. The cost of the project is 181 million euros, including a bank loan of 126 million euros. Most importantly, 3,000 people will be provided with permanent jobs.
The members of the delegation also got acquainted with the activities of the newly established LLC Fazman Tekstil in Davlatabad district. The export-oriented company has established cooperation with the world-famous German brands Digel and Carl Gross. The project cost of the enterprise is $20 million. The latest equipment has been brought from European countries. At the initial stage, about a thousand jobs were created. The company has also created a training center for young people’s training.
During the working visit, the Kyrgyz delegation also visited the Art Soft Cluster in Namangan, which operates in the industrial sector of Namangan region and includes a cotton cluster and several manufacturing enterprises. Here the guests were informed about the production process and types of products. The company has weaving, dyeing and sewing workshops. They employ over a thousand people. 85-90 percent of the products are exported. The members of the delegation were greatly impressed by the production process and showroom.
During the visit, the delegation members were accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Achilbay Ramatov, Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov.
