During an official visit to Uzbekistan, a military delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant General Baktibek Bekbolotov, became familiar with the historical monuments of Samarkand.

Samarkand region’s Hokim Erkinjon Turdimov and the leadership of the command of the Central Military District welcomed the guests at Samarkand International Airport.

The delegation members became familiar with the archaeological and architectural monuments of Samarkand, which have an almost 3,000-year history and have been carefully preserved for centuries. They visited the ancient architectural monuments and majestic buildings of the city, as well as the Central Military District.
