Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul hosts the Western Asia Youth Chess Championship among children aged 6-18.

Almost 300 young chess players from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, Oman, India, and players under the flag of the International Chess Federation, are fighting for victory in rapid and blitz championships.

53 chess players are defending the honor of Uzbekistan.

The championship will run until July 10.
