Kyrgyzstan’s Cholpon-Ata hosts a Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Kabar NA reports.

The heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union will consider the preparation of an international agreement on the formation of a common gas market of the EAEU, discuss amendments to the Treaty on the Union regarding the collection of indirect taxes on electronic commerce of goods sold to individuals, a list of priority integration infrastructure projects of the Union countries in transport, as well as the issue of further work on expanding the use of national currencies of the member states while making settlements within the framework of mutual trade.

Reports of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the progress of work for the creation and implementation of mechanisms for financing industrial cooperation in the Union and on the progress of work on the agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market in the EAEU will be presented at the meeting.

Following the meeting, it is planned to sign a draft Agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.
