The first forum discussion, “Cleanliness in Everything: Environmental Friendliness as a Tool for Business Development”, was devoted to the impact of the environmental agenda on business activity and company investment attractiveness.

The discussion was attended by the Director of the National Center for Green Transformation and Adaptation to Climate Change, Advisor to the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan Suna Park, Country Head of ACWA Power in Uzbekistan Jon Zaidi, Head of the UzGidro Transformation Implementation Office Pakhlavon Nurmatov, Director of ESG Consulting at the Central Asian Institute of Environmental Research (CAIER) Aigerim Ospanova and Deputy Director of Huawei Uzbekistan Suli Gairat.

The second session, “Where to Expect Money: The Role of International Development Institutions in Advancing the Sustainable Agenda”, was sponsored by ACWA Power and focused on the activities of ESG development institutions.

Participants in the third business platform, “The Impact of ESG Practices on the Decision-Making Process”, discussed global corporate tools for sustainable development.
