The First International Congress of the “National Plan for the Athletics” was held in the city of Patras, Greece.

Exhibitions of international and national sports federations, as well as bilateral meetings of delegations, were held during the international workshop organized at the initiative of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece.

Merabi Iliadis, the President of the Hellenic Federation of Sambo, delivered a speech on the development of this martial art and other martial arts in Greece and Europe.

At the exhibition in the “Kurash” pavilion, yaktak kurash uniforms, booklets, banners, and a film presentation dedicated to kurash wrestling were demonstrated.
