Kurash is included in the program of the Islamic Solidarity Games, to be held from November 7 to 21 this year in Saudi Arabia.

This decision was a significant step in popularizing kurash among the member countries of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) and strengthening its position in the international arena. Kurash, as a part of cultural heritage, continues to attract increasing attention in the world of sports.

According to the International Kurash Association, participation in competitions within the framework of the Games is open to all national federations of Asian and African countries.

According to the agreement with the organizing committee, each country’s delegation will be able to declare two coaches, two athletes, and two female athletes.

The fights will be held in the following weight categories: up to 66 kg and up to 81 kg for men, up to 57 kg and up to 70 kg for women.
