Minister of Construction of Uzbekistan Batir Zakirov received a delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang Keon.
The South Korean side presented a project for the construction of a modern residential complex “Kokand Hanshin Park City” in the city of Kokand according to South Korean standards with 5100 apartments, a school and a preschool educational institution, shopping facilities and green areas.
Batir Zakirov welcomed the signing of an investment agreement on Kokand Hanshin Park City project and noted that this project will transform the city of Kokand and provide the city’s population with modern housing and social infrastructure.
The Co-CEO of Hanshin Engineering & Construction company Choi Moon-Gyu expressed special gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the active support and assistance provided over the past two years in the preparation and conclusion of the necessary documents for the implementation of the project.
Along with this, the parties also discussed the creation of a joint design institute with Hanshin Engineering & Construction in Uzbekistan based on Qishloqqurilishloyiha LLC, Toshuyjoyliti JSC and Uzogirsanoatloyiha JSC, which will become unique in the CIS.
