A delegation of 40 coaches and student-athletes, led by Vice President of Kyungdong University Lee Young Hoon, has arrived at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.

At a meeting with university faculty and Rector Rashid Matkarimov, the guests discussed joint projects, exchanged views on global sports events, and shared insights on the technical and tactical principles of various sports.

A literary and educational event was also held, dedicated to the 584th anniversary of poet Alisher Navoi and the 542nd anniversary of ruler, poet, and statesman Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The Korean delegation participated in theoretical and practical kurash, taekwondo, boxing, and football training sessions.

Later, delegation members visited the capital’s Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory, where they highly praised Uzbekistan’s achievements in the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the country’s ongoing efforts in sports development.
