The specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, in collaboration with the Korean Education Center, held the Korean Language Olympiad for the first time.

250 students from all over the country tested their knowledge of the Korean language.

Testing included listening comprehension of the text and questions on reading and grammar. 180 minutes were allotted for solving the tasks.

Following the Olympiad, the organizers awarded ten winners diplomas and cash prizes.

Robiya Oybekova, a student of school No.1 of Shahrikhan district of Andijan region, took 1st place, Ahmadullo Subhonov, a student of school No.42 of the city of Bukhara – 2nd, and Arthur Kim, a student of the non-state education institution MATES of Mirabad district of Tashkent – 3rd place.

Such Olympiads serve to improve the level of knowledge of a foreign language.
