Korean Foundation: the annual exchange of human capital between Uzbekistan and Korea is 25 thousand people
In his speech at the “Uzbekistan – Korea: A look into the future” expert forum, Executive Director of Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat, Vice President of the Korea Foundation Rhee Jong Kook noted that projects to deepen cooperation in the exchange of human capital are being widely implemented today.
According to him, today the number of Uzbekistan citizens living in South Korea has reached more than 75 thousand people, while the number of Koreans living in Uzbekistan is about 180 thousand people.
In turn, the annual exchange of human capital between the two countries is 25 thousand people.
Mr. Rhee Jong Kook is convinced that further development of diplomatic and political contacts between Uzbekistan and Korea can give an even greater impetus to the intensification of bilateral human contacts.
