“Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan textile industry) Association held negotiations with the heads of the South Korean company Daewon Wool Textile Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, issues of organizing production of mixed fabrics from cotton and polyester, as well as studying the experience of Korean partners in school uniform designing for schoolchildren were discussed.

Daewon Wool Textile company is one of the leading companies in Korea, specialized in production of uniforms for schoolchildren and students under the popular brand IVY Club. In addition, the company has a production of mixed fabrics made from polyester and wool, located in Vietnam.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Daewon Wool Textile Co., Ltd. Mr. Kim especially noted that investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan has significantly increased.

In turn, representatives of the Association provided information on the current state of the industry, as well as samples of school uniform, which is tested in two schools in Uzbekistan.

Mr. Kim highly appreciated the design of samples, however he gave his recommendations on the choice of fabrics for the forms.

As reported by the Press Service of the Association, following the meeting, the Korean side expressed its readiness in studying the issue of implementation of the project on creating a vertically integrated textile production of mixed wool, polyester and cotton fabrics, by attracting Korean investments.
