On December 25, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan hosted the Korea – Uzbekistan CSR 2025 Forum and Award Ceremony, along with a fourth-quarter meeting on supporting Korean companies and developing energy infrastructure.

The forum recognized Korean companies for their outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives across social support, IT education, environmental protection, and regional development. Participants highlighted the steady growth of bilateral cooperation under a special strategic partnership.

The subsequent meeting provided a platform for open dialogue between Korean businesses and Uzbekistan government representatives, focusing on ongoing projects, infrastructure support, and operational challenges. The Uzbek side announced plans to establish a dedicated “Korea Desk” to assist Korean companies in project management and issue resolution.

These events reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to deepening practical economic cooperation and achieving tangible results.
