Uzbekistan’s weightlifter Sarvarbek Zafarjonov won 3 gold medals at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.

In the snatch, he lifted a projectile weighing 167 kilograms, ahead of his nearest competitor by 5 kilograms.

The weightlifter won the second gold in the clean and jerk. Sarvarbek Zafarjonov lifted 199 kilograms. In total, he lifted 366 kilograms, which brought him a third gold medal.

Thus, the athlete from Uzbekistan became the absolute champion in his weight category.
