Large-scale work is underway in the city of Kokand to prepare for cultural events as part of the implementation of the resolution of the Head of state “On measures to accelerate the development of cooperation with the Turkic states in tourism” of August 1, 2022.

Modern large monitors are installed on the streets of the city to demonstrate upcoming events, as well as to promote the history and ancient culture of Kokand.

In September this year, Kokand will also host International Handicraft Festival.

The region’s craftsmen are expanding the range of products that will be demonstrated at the International Handicraft Festival.

The unique products of Sharofiddin Yusupov, a representative of the seventh generation of the dynasty of ceramists, an academician of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, an honored worker of arts of Uzbekistan, the owner of the Order of the “Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun”, are kept in many famous museums around the world. Now Mr. Yusupov is also preparing for the upcoming festival.
