In Karshi, a residential house has been commissioned. It is intended for orphans and children left without parental care.

It was noted during an event held on this occasion that special attention is paid in the country to providing social support for citizens and creating good living conditions for the population. Care provided at the level of state policy to orphans and children without parental care and help given to them so that they find a worthy place in society show the best qualities of Uzbek people.

A resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 2 August 2010 “On measures to provide accommodation for orphans and children left without parental care” is an important factor in further improving work in this area.

A residential house consisting of two-room and one-room apartments was built thanks to joint efforts by the regional hokimiyat (governorate) and a number of sponsor organizations and entrepreneurs.

“The house also has a room of spirituality and enlightenment and a sports hall complete with exercisers and other equipment. There are plans to build a summer terrace and a greenhouse in the adjacent territory. A sewing workshop and a beauty salon would not only create conveniences for the house’s residents but would also help their eimployment,” says the chairman of the Kashkadarya Regional department of the Mahalla public charity foundation, Shermamat Rajabov.

The hokim (governor) of Kashkadarya Region, Z.Ruziyev, made a speech at the event.
