Kim Chang-Keon: I am glad to contribute to the development of cultural relations between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan
Work is underway to install a monument to King Sejong, the great son of the Korean nation, the founder of the Korean alphabet – “Hangul”, in the Seoul Park of Tashkent to further strengthen cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Korea.
The monument is being built by Malong, South Korea’s leading monument maker, using modern sculptural techniques. Chairman of Eurasia Networks Group, Senior Vice President of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang-Keon took an active part in the installation process and took over the financing of the project.
Mr. Kim Chang-Keon noted that he was glad to contribute to the development of cultural relations between the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan.
According to Malong representatives, the construction of the statue is nearing completion.
