As previously reported, Tashkent hosted the 26th Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

UzA Correspondent interviewed the ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri, who attended the meeting. He expressed his opinion about the high-level events that are being held in Uzbekistan.

The ECO Secretary General expressed gratitude to the Government of Uzbekistan for the high-level organization of the meeting and hospitality shown to the delegations of the member countries.

Mr. Khusrav Noziri noted the increasing role of Uzbekistan as an important member of the organization. Following the ECO Meeting, it was announced that the next meeting of the organization will be hosted and chaired by Azerbaijan.
