The poet Khuraman Muradova was awarded the title of honorary professor of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi.
According to the AZERTAC News Agency, the event was attended by professors and lecturers of the university, representatives of the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center at the embassy, journalists and students.

The Rector of the university, Shukhrat Sirojiddinov, noted the merits of cultural, literary and scientific figures in expanding cultural and literary ties between the two countries.
Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev spoke about the common roots of the Azerbaijani and Uzbek peoples, emphasizing that today, the fraternal relations based on these roots are at the highest level.

In turn, Khuraman Muradova conveyed greetings to the Uzbek people from the Azerbaijani people, and expressed gratitude to the university staff and leadership for the high appreciation of her work.
