Khosiyat Rustamova wins the Hertfordshire Press Awards

The poetry collection “Colorful Tears” by the famous Uzbek poet Khosiyat Rustamova won the Hertfordshire Press Awards in London.

The prize is awarded to writers and poets of the Eurasian countries for their contribution to the development of literature, as well as the promotion of historical traditions, cultural specifics of countries and peoples. The Hertfordshire Press Awards ceremony is held annually by the Eurasian Creative Guild, and aimed at uniting representatives of the creative and cultural circles of the Eurasian continent.

During the competition, the works of writers and poets from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Israel were studied. The poetry collection of Khosiyat Rustamova “Colorful Tears” won the nomination “Critics' Contest”.

The participation and receipt of the prize of a representative of Uzbekistan within the framework of a literary competition in London is important in demonstrating Uzbek culture and art, poetry, and the uniqueness of Uzbek people in the international arena.
