The electoral process also began today at 8:00 a.m. at all 553 polling stations of the 12th electoral district of Khorezm region.

The number of voters in Khorezm region is more than 1 million. Of these, 70 thousand 382 people are young people participating in the electoral process for the first time.

As is known, a voter who cannot stay at his residence on election day has the right to vote early. A voter exercises the right to early voting based on an application indicating the reason for absence on election day (vacation, business trip, travel abroad, and others). Thus, early voting was held from June 28 to July 5, 2023. A total of 11,237 voters voted at polling stations in Khorezm region on the days of early voting.

All conditions for voters have been created at polling stations located on the district’s territory. 17 members of the 12th Khorezm District Election Commission receive information about the voting process at all polling stations. Appeals to the district commission’s helplines are also accepted if citizens have questions about the electoral process.
