A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on measures to hold an International Ethnosport Festival in Khiva has been adopted.

In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to popularize and develop ethnosport types” of May 25, 2022, it is planned to hold an International Ethnosport Festival every two years starting this year and open a Museum of national sports and folk games in Tashkent.

The first festival will be held on September 7-10 at the Ichan Kala Complex in Khiva. Landscaping and preparation activities will be carried out, and the Garden of International Ethnofestival will be created in the city.
