From July 29 to August 3 this year, Kyrgyzstan hosted the Asian Cup in kickboxing among juniors, in the city of Jalalabad.

The competition was attended by young athletes who are members of the Association of Amateur and Professional Kickboxing of Uzbekistan – children of the youth sports school in the city of Khanabad. Most of them won prizes.

Khurshidbek Khamidjonov competed in the 24 kg weight category, Sarvarbek Abdumalikov in the 26 kg weight category, Umarjon Bakhromov in the 30 kg weight category. They defeated all their rivals and became winners. They advanced to the World Championships to be held on 16-19 September this year in Budapest, Hungary.
