Khalid Taimur Akram: Uzbekistan’s leadership has once again confirmed its readiness to take into account the needs of people in social reforms
22:47 / 2022-06-25

Executive Director of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future Khalid Taimur Akram commented for the IA Dunyo on the constitutional reform in Uzbekistan:

– The speech of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 20 shows that the principle of “human – society – state” remains the main paradigm of the period of the revival of Uzbekistan and the development of constitutional reforms. Making human welfare and social development a priority of the Constitution is a timely step in the right direction.

Undoubtedly, Uzbekistan is rapidly developing under the far-sighted leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He always gave priority to the involvement of people in the process of national development. The leadership of the country once again confirmed its readiness to take into account the needs of people in social reforms and institutional development. Thus, the new amendments to the Constitution will give impetus to the acceleration of the socio-economic development of New Uzbekistan.

Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram believes that the latest developments and the amendments to the Basic Law will open a new era of national growth, sustainable development and the unity of society in Uzbekistan.
