Analysts at Aviasales.uz studied which destinations residents of Uzbekistan chose during the 2025-2026 winter season and how travel demand changed.
According to Aviasales.uz research, the period from December 2025 to February 2026 showed the continuation of the country’s traditional preferences, while new destinations also emerged.
Russia, Türkiye, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia still account for the main share of searches and bookings. However, during the winter season, interest among Uzbekistanis increased in Asian destinations such as Malaysia and India. Demand for these destinations grew by 92% and 58%, respectively, compared to last year.
The average cost of an international one-way flight in winter 2026 amounted to $438. The five most affordable destinations were:
• Germany – $217
• Saudi Arabia – $240
• Russia – $263
• Vietnam – $270
• United States – $357
It is noted that last year prices for these destinations were on average 20% higher.
As for business class, it was most frequently searched for long-haul destinations – to Poland, France, and Indonesia.
A year earlier, Qatar, Austria, and Hungary were among the top priorities. The trend is clear: the longer the route, the higher the willingness to pay extra for comfort.
