Keisuke Minami is appointed Uzbekistan Tourism Ambassador to Japan

The Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, announced the appointment of the famous Japanese actor and TV presenter Keisuke Minami as the Tourism Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan.

Keisuke Minami was born in Tokyo in 1985 and graduated from the prestigious Waseda University. He has established himself as one of Japan’s leading actors by starring in popular films and TV series. He is also the host of the travel show “Asada! Namadesu tabi sarada” and a teacher at the World Heritage Academy, with a Master’s degree in “World Historical Heritage”.

After visiting Uzbekistan, where he was impressed by the historical monuments, national cuisine, and hospitality of local residents, Minami prepared a program dedicated to the country’s tourism potential. This project aroused considerable interest among the Japanese audience.

Keisuke Minami will actively contribute to promoting Uzbekistan as a tourist destination, implementing tourism projects, and preparing publications about the country for the Japanese media.
