12:11 / 2025-05-16

On May 13-18, 2025, Kazan hosts the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – the Islamic World”.

The delegates from more than 100 countries are taking part in the event. Representatives of several regions of Uzbekistan, including a delegation led by Bukhara region’s Hokim Botir Zaripov, are also participating in the forum.

During the forum, the head of the region got acquainted with the activities of several large manufacturing enterprises in Tatarstan. In particular, the Uzbekistan delegation visited the Tatlift Company. The company, formerly known as Regionliftmash, was founded in 2020 in Zelenodolsk Industrial Park.

In February 2024, the company launched the first stage of the plant in the Zelenodolsk Industrial Park, which can produce 3,000 elevators per year under the TLmotors brand.

During a conversation with the Director of the Company, Gulshat Zagidullina, Botir Zaripov noted that the ongoing large-scale construction of multi-storey residential buildings, commercial, and industrial facilities in Bukhara region increases the need for modern, convenient, and high-quality elevators. The parties exchanged views on implementing the elevator manufacturing project in Bukhara as part of a mutually beneficial partnership.

Botir Zaripov, accompanied by the head of Zelenodolsk municipal district, Mikhail Afanasyev, also got acquainted with the activities of the Iskra-Volga Technopark, which is the basis of the energy cluster not only of Tatarstan, but also of the Russian Federation.

Uzbekistan delegation members were greatly interested in the activities of the resident companies of this technopark, in particular, SKAT, for the production of high-voltage cable fittings, PromEnergo, for the production of intelligent devices and energy metering systems, E-Prom, for the production of charging stations for electric vehicles and Aruna, specializing in architectural- artistic lighting.

Botir Zaripov stressed that active cooperation with the Iskra-Volga Technopark will contribute to developing the economy and green energy in the region.
