Russia’s UVT Aero has received permission to perform regular flights to Uzbekistan.

According to Uzaviation Agency, based on the intergovernmental agreement on air communication between Uzbekistan and Russia, on August 17, 2023, an Operational permit was issued for regular flights to Uzbekistan by UVT Aero on the route Kazan – Samarkand – Kazan. The flights will be operated on CRJ-200 aircraft.

UVT Aero is a Russian regional airline established in 2015 based on the closed Ak Bars Aero. It is based at the airports of Kazan, Bugulma, and Begishevo. The company’s headquarters is located in Bugulma. To date, it operates regular passenger flights from the cities of Tatarstan.
