Authorities of Kazakhstan are ready to support Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanel Kushukova said at the WTO’s 12th Ministerial Conference in Geneva.

At the meeting between the Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanel Kushukova and the Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Abidov, issues related to Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO were discussed.

“Uzbekistan is a friendly neighbor. We have close trade, economic and cultural ties. We support Uzbekistan’s aspiration to become a member of the World Trade Organization”, Zhanel Kushukova noted.
