Kazakhstan delegation was met by the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tursunkhon Khudoybergenov, the khokim of Jizzakh region Ergash Soliyev, the khokim of Mirzachul district Komil Kholmurodov and representatives of the general public.

The guests got acquainted with activities being carried out in Mirzachul district within the framework of “Obod qishloq” (Prosperous village) program. The guests got acquainted with the life and activities of socio-cultural institutions and communities in the city. Examined the renovated city center, modern facilities, residential buildings, ornamental and fruit trees, green areas with great interest. They were greatly impressed by the amenities created in the new houses, the capitally repaired building of the Kazakh National Drama Theater.

At the same time, the attention of the guests was attracted by the consistent activity carried out not only on development of the social sphere, but also as a priority direction on creating economic and industrial enterprises, providing the population with work.

“We visited Jizzakh region to study Uzbekistan’s experience in implementation of the Prosperous Village Program”, – says the head of the delegation Yermek Alpysov. “The unique creative work carried out in Uzbekistan is an experience worth exploring and adopting. Most importantly, people are pleased with this noble initiative, which we personally witnessed during our visit. This work, which requires not only enormous efforts, but also funds, was carried out in a short time, which testifies to the tremendous attention and care of the state about the people.
