Katta Langar Quran to be presented at Islamic Arts Biennale
The Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan will take part in the first biennale of Islamic Arts in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), presenting a selection of rare museum exhibits from Uzbekistan.
A special place in the exposition, which will consist of 17 exhibits, is given to the Katta Langar Quran, one of the oldest manuscripts of the Mus'haf. Two of its 13 pages, recently restored by the Louvre, are currently on display for the first time at an exhibition organized by the foundation in Paris. The Islamic Arts Biennale will feature four pages of the Quran, two of which will be presented for the first time.

The Islamic Arts Biennale will be held from January 23 to April 23, 2023, at the Canopy Terminal.
