A delegation led by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Karakalpakstan.

Members of the Tatarstan delegation visited several manufacturing enterprises in Nukus and held talks on cooperation. At the Prime Electric Engineering enterprise, which produces household appliances, they got acquainted with the production process and the conditions created for workers.

Then, the guests visited Akfa Assembly, which produces windows and doors. 200 people work here. The quality and beautiful design of the products, which are in demand abroad, aroused great interest among the guests.

The next visit point was an agricultural enterprise with a free cotton terminal. Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbayev and the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov agreed to create joint ventures and establish exports.

Negotiations took place on establishing multifaceted cooperation between Karakalpakstan and Tatarstan in the textile, agricultural, trade, and economic spheres.
