An international scientific conference on “The Southern Aral – the territory of innovative development” was held within the framework of the festivals. It was attended by scientists, environmentalists, members of the general public and journalists.

Participants of the conference noted that the most beautiful places in Karakalpakstan are found precisely near the Aral Sea and on the Ustyurt Plateau, and suggested developing ecotourism here.

International gastronomic festival “99 Aral Fish” was held in Muynak Eco Museum, as well as on the shores of Kuksu Lake.

The event was attended by numerous guests from various regions of Uzbekistan, as well as tourists from Russia, France, Germany, Poland and other countries. Cooks from different regions of Uzbekistan prepared a variety of dishes that were evaluated by the jury members. Artists performed national songs and dances, artisans showed their products at the exhibition organized here.
