Representatives of City University expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbek partners on the implementation of an educational project by creating a joint faculty in tourism, architecture and natural sciences, and the possibility of opening a branch of the Malaysian university in the city of Nukus.

In particular, the City University is ready to provide academic programs based on the franchising model, including the issuance of double diplomas, training according to 2+2 standards (2 years at KSU, 2 years at City University), training faculty and staff, management of academic standards, as well as control over the quality assurance of education.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on signing a Cooperation Agreement on the opening of a joint faculty, as well as the exchange of professors, teachers and students in order to undergo short/medium-term internships and advanced training on the basis of two universities.
