The economic forum “Uzbekistan: Achievements of Economic Reforms and Outlines” began its work today in Tashkent.

The prestigious international event, held in the form of open dialogue, is attended by foreign experts, international financial institutions and large banks, consulting and rating companies, foreign and local entrepreneurs, and media representatives, JSC Thermal Power Plants Press Service reports.

“Holding of such prestigious events in our country certainly opens up new development prospects for us”, says Farkhod Abdurakhmanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Thermal Power Plants. – We will not be mistaken if we say that an international platform is being created here not only to demonstrate the results we have achieved, but also to study foreign experience, to demonstrate the attractiveness of our country in the electric power industry.

Tomorrow, on the second day of the event, a presentation of JSC Thermal Power Plants will take place on the reforms carried out in the country in the electricity production in recent years and the planned strategy for the next five years, as well as on the transformation process of thermal power plants.
