Specialists of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company paid a working visit to South Korea. They got acquainted with the activities of the country’s leading, high-tech manufacturing companies.

The delegation visited the PNT INC plant located in Gumi to study the experience of South Korea in developing the industry and fully establishing a modern production chain.

Talks were held between the specialists of the plant and representatives of this company on the establishment of bilateral cooperation. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in organizing the production of copper foil based on NMMC JSC.

NMMC specialists also visited the factories of the companies KOMA TECH, Smart Machine Tool, Hankook Machine Tools in the city of Gimhae to get acquainted with the ongoing work in mechanical engineering and machine tool building.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the production of the necessary parts and spare parts for the above enterprises at Navoi Machine-Building Plant of NMMC JSC, as well as on the establishment of the production of high-tech machine tools in Uzbekistan.
