On 19-23 December, the Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan will host the “Joys of Tashkent” International Biennale of Children’s Pictures.
The project organizers are the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other relevant ministries and agencies.
The works sent to the competition are divided into three age groups: from 5 to 7 years old, from 8 to 12 years old and from 13 to 15 years old.
This year, children from 20 foreign countries, such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, India, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, and Thailand are participating in the International Biennale. Many children’s drawings were also sent from neighboring countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The Biennale will present about 2,500 creative works.
The Grand Prix will be awarded for the best work of one of the participants. 7 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze medals and commemorative certificates will also be awarded.
The winners will be awarded on December 23 at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
