These days, festive events of the Presidential New Year’s Tree are being held in cities and districts of Tashkent region, as well as across all other regions of the country, bringing children joy and a sense of care and warmth.

One such event, held in a joyful, ceremonial atmosphere, took place at the Metallurg Palace of Culture in Almalyk. It was attended by children under the age of 18 who are without parental care, children of family-type children’s homes and “Muruvvat” homes, as well as children of military personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Bright performances, theatrical shows featuring fairy-tale characters, and songs and dances gave the celebration a festive atmosphere.

The regional Hokim, Zoyir Mirzayev, warmly congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year and extended his best wishes. As part of the celebration, the children were presented with Presidential gifts and deposit cards for the future.

This year, a total of 886 Presidential gifts are planned for distribution across Tashkent region. These gifts include 24 types of educational supplies and 34 varieties of sweets.
