Ankara is hosting the War Journalism Training, a crucial initiative spearheaded by the Anadolu Agency. This event underscores the importance of continuous learning and preparedness in the profession.
The event is being held for the 25th time. Ten journalists from the Anadolu Agency and 15 from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Iraq are participating in the event.
On the first day of the two-day program, classes were held on military topics and issues of naval operations. The fight against terrorism was considered.
The ongoing training aims to prepare correspondents capable of working in conditions of war, natural disasters, and emergency situations, increasing theoretical knowledge, explaining geopolitics, and correcting the use of terminology.
Media representatives will put their skills to the test in 26 areas, including journalism, personal safety, military discipline, primary medical care, use of modern technology, water survival, protection against chemical and biological attacks, emergency response, and media management. This hands-on approach ensures that they are well-prepared for any situation they may encounter in the field.
At the workshop on geopolitics, administration representatives made reports on the essence and significance of local, regional, and international politics.
Information about the Turkish Naval Forces, its actions, and types of fighter aircraft in the country was particularly interesting.
