The press tour for journalists from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan in Nur-Sultan city, the Republic of Kazakhstan, continues.

The second day of the press tour began with a visit to the international tech park of IT startups “Astana Hub”, which provides free office space for developers of startup projects in information technologies.

The journalists got acquainted with the tech park’s infrastructure, some IT projects. Special attention was attracted by the KOMPRA project, the main goal of which is verification of legal entities for reliability.

The next object that the journalists got acquainted was Astana International Financial Center. It was noted that the center’s main goal is to become a financial hub for Central Asia, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Middle East, Western China, Mongolia and Europe.

In order to familiarize with activities of local media, in particular TV channels, an excursion was organized to Kazmedia Center – the Central Communications Service of Kazakhstan. Here, journalists attended the press conference within the framework of the second annual competition for journalists “European Union – Kazakhstan: Strengthening the media space”. It was noted that relations between the European Union and Central Asia are actively developing in many areas, including in the media. This competition contributes to raising the awareness of journalists about the European Union and their professionalism in general. Similar competitions are held by the EU not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other countries of Central Asia.

The final object of the second day press tour became Nur Alem pavilion in the territory of EXPO 2017.
