It was attended by representatives of the mass media from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

At the event organized in this connection at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Foreign Minister Beibut Atamkulov, Director of the CIS Department Ualikhan Torekhanov and others noted that in recent years, relations between Central Asian countries have noticeably intensified, the trade turnover, the number of mutual investments have increased, many joint projects are being developed, borders have been opened. All this serves the interests of people of the countries. It is necessary to further increase cooperation, primarily economic, using the untapped potential.

The first object of the visit was the monument Astana-Baiterek. This magnificent building is located in the heart of the city and is a symbol of the state, based on its historical roots, has a solid foundation and striving for prosperity and wellbeing. The height of the monument is 105 meters.

Then a press conference was held at KazakhExport Export Insurance Company. Managing Director Ruslan Tyulegenov provided detailed information about the company, the goals of which are to increase the export of non-commodity goods, works and services in priority sectors of the economy, financial-insurance and non-financial support of enterprises.

The final event of the press tour’s first day was the presentation of the project “Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Complex” of JSC NC Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary. Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company for the Construction and Operation of the National Space Center Rashid Abdurazakov spoke in detail about its activities and structure, projects being implemented, including the creation of space satellites, as well as development and implementation of current and long-term intersectoral programs, conducting experimental development on creation of space systems and complexes.
